Try-before-you-buy

During our customer research, we found out that most users would prefer to have the opportunity to try add-on products before actually buying them.

Because our customers’ views are important, we decided to make our payware products available on a "Try-Before-You-Buy" (TBUB) basis, providing you accept a sponsored message every 15 minutes of flight during the trial period. There are no other limitations to trying try all the features of the program. After the TBUB period has expired, you will need to buy a license if you like the product and want to continue using it. After buying the license, you will not see any further sponsored messages.

Until we release the first final version we will allow anyone to use the payware products without any time limitation. After the 1.0.0 version is released, the TBUB period will last for at least 2 hours of product usage. The timer starts when you start the product itself and not when you load FS. If the TBUB limit expires while you are connected you will be able to continue the product until you close the current product session.

The sponsored messages – only shown in the ATIS communication window as in the next image – are about products and/or services offered by third parties associated with the SponsorWare program.

We are convinced that giving you the opportunity to try a product in this way, makes you, the user more confident about what you are going to get for your money, and how exactly it works on your system.

We hope this demonstrates how much we trust our products and how much we believe in our exciting new development of multi-crew flying.. No-one supplying a commercial product will give you that try-before-you-buy opportunity unless they are confident that the product does what they say it does and is stable on the users systems!
